Asian Style Pork Burger

I love a good burger. I have not been able to eat red meat for quite a while because it causes me significant inflammation and pain. So I have had to get very creative with my burger options.

This is by far one of my favorites and I hope that you enjoy it too.

I usually serve these with sesame fries and vinegar slaw.

Burger

1 lb                         Ground Pork *

1 Tbsp                     Fresh Ginger, finely chopped

4 cloves                   Garlic, finely chopped

1 Tbsp                     GF Soy Sauce or Liquid Aminos

1 tsp                        Fish Sauce

1 tsp                        Sesame Oil

1/2 cup                    Fresh Cilantro, chopped

Burger:

* You can use 1/2 lb ground pork and 1/2 lb ground turkey for a leaner burger.

1. Add all the burger ingredients to a bowl and mix together. I prefer to use my hands.

2. Form into 4 equal burger patties.

3. Cook on a grill for 3-4 minutes per side. Make sure to cook all the way through.

4. Serve on your choice of bun or crisp lettuce.
